Do I really hate sugar?
THE ANSWER IS NO!
Why? Because sugar doesn’t jump into my mouth and make me eat it. I choose to do that all by myself, or do I?
Sugar is addictive. There are many specialists, nutritionists and experts out there that can explain the effects of excess sugars on the body. For me, it’s simple, I just take note of how I feel after I have eaten too much sugar. I feel great to start with but then, very quickly, I feel awful.
But what if I don’t know that I have eaten any sugars (not carbohydrates, just sugar)?
Many manufacturers add sugar to their products to make them taste better to us, the consumer. So, the only option is to learn to understand what you read on the labels of your favourite food and hopefully kick a habit that you may not even know you have had for however long.
Take control to kick the sugar habit. Eat it because you choose to and not because it’s in your food.
