Dilishque curry paste is made, at home with love and care, from the best ingredients available here in Yorkshire.
We use fresh ginger, green chillies and coriander, as well as the other ingredients from local suppliers.
The 50g pot is plenty strong enough to:
– make a medium strength chicken and potato curry (or many other recipes)
– make a meal for 2-4 people.
– make delicious meals for vegetarians and vegans

Our No Onion No Garlic Curry Paste is made for those who are allergic to onion and garlic or for those who choose not to eat it.
Please note that this paste is the hottest in our range and as a result, your 50g pot goes a lot further.
Dilishque curry paste is a formulation of many years of trial and error and experimental combinations that has resulted in the paste as it has been for the last few years. Dilishque is made from the best ingredients available here in Yorkshire. We use fresh ginger, garlic, green chilies, coriander and spring onions. These as well as the other ingredients are from local suppliers.
Dilishque has an intensely aromatic fragrance, and although there is only 50g of it, it is plenty strong enough to make a medium strength curry. The strength of the curry made using Dilishque was determined using the survey questionnaires, you will, I am sure form your own opinion once you have tried it.
A full pot of the Dilishque curry paste is intended to be used in the recipe provided. There are other uses where only a little of the Dilishque paste is required. In this case, just use what you require replace the lid and store and re-use till the Best Before Date. Use after this date may result in milder muted flavours as the potency of the ingredients will be compromised with age.
We prepare the fresh ingredients by washing them before Dilishque curry paste is diligently prepared and hand potted into their separate pots. The utmost care is taken in assuring the highest quality of the product is maintained at each stage of the production process.
Dilishque is made in our kitchen. At this time, it is strictly prepared for the sole purpose of the production of the paste. There are various allergens, like nuts and wheat, mustard etc. we have in our stores, however, they are not “out” at the time of paste production. But for this reason we cannot 100% guarantee an Allergen Free product.
We have included the dry spices to enhance the authenticity of the experience and flavours created by using the traditional method of imparting the aromatic flavours of the spices into the food. This method is used to add a further dimension to the aromas and the flavours created. As the curry paste is not preserved in oil there is only three grams of fat per pot, some of which comes from the oil added and the remainder of the fat is present due to the inherent oils present in the ingredients used. For example, cloves, cinnamon and chillies contain some natural oils as well as some of the other ingredients.
Although the recipe included with Dilishque curry paste is a chicken and potato curry, the product itself is equally suited for use in vegan and vegetarian recipes alike.
