Makes 8 burgers | Prep time 35 minutes | Cooking time approx. 20 mins
You will need:
- 1 pot of 50g Dilishque curry paste
- 400g lamb mince (chicken mince and beef mince works well too)
- 100g oats

Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.
Stir in the Dilishque curry paste evenly.
Once you have an even looking mixture cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes for a more blended flavour.
While you wait: you could make a salad and some mint yoghurt chutney.
After 30 minutes:
Divide the mix into 8 balls and shape into 7cm rounds to make the burgers.
Top Tip: Gently roll the balls in a few oats if the mix is a little wet and sticky then flatten.
Heat a non-stick pan (or grease the bottom of your pan to prevent sticking) and place your burgers in the pan. Cover and turn until the meat is cooked.
Alternatively, they can be grilled, on each side under a hot grill, until cooked.
CARE. Cooking times can vary with different appliances, cook a little longer if required.
Ready to serve.
Accompaniments:

- Mint Yoghurt
- Naan bread or burger baps (cheese topped baps are extra tasty if you fancy a treat!)
